Not the Place for a Lady

Not the place for a Lady, originally uploaded by Ladymaggic.
The strong winds along the Coast almost blew this tiny dog off its feet.
She sat down on the sand and simply refused to move.

Her fur was blown almost away as she sat on the sand.
She looked beautiful...I regret not taking the video of her battling the winds...

It was not the place for a dainty lady

The sea-dog loves riding the dinghy totally in charge, as it goes down the Creek.
He never misses anything.
He checks periodically to make sure his people are safe and doing the right thing.

German Pointers on the beach

German Pointers, originally uploaded by Ladymaggic.
Two beautiful and elegant German Pointers were being walked along the sand.
The owner told me they were both old dogs, but they are still beautiful.

They reminded me of Maida, my favorite doberman, which is why I asked the owner about them.
She had style and elegance too, and excellent breeding.

German Shorthaired Pointers were developed in Germany as a multi-purpose gun dog, to replace the need for both a pointer and a retriever. Pointer refers to the stance a dog takes when it finds game and then strikes a rigid pose to indicate to its handler that there is game ahead.

Is this better?

Is this better?, originally uploaded by Ladymaggic.
People walk their dogs on the beach in the evening where the low tide makes for great walks and easy swimming in the shallow waters.

There were 5 dogs here, but we could not get them all to sit as well as this pair at the same time.

They were very cute, friendly and excited to be on the beach

Please.............
